It all started when...
I hold a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (2002). I am nationally certified in Acupuncture by the NCCAOM and licensed to practice in Oregon under the Oregon Medical Board. I bring over 20 years of experience in bodywork and acupuncture right here to Mount Hood.
I take an eclectic approach to my practice, using mostly Japanese Meridian Therapy (Toyohari) modalities. Additionally I do bodywork, some herbs and supplements, and even TCM acupuncture, as well as localized musculoskeletal acupuncture. Currently I am studying the treatment of persistent Lymes Disease with Greg Lee, and auditing some of the Basic Toyohari trainings happening this year in Portland.
I am endlessly curious and am constantly reading and studying acupuncture, physiology, pathophysiology, and new and interesting ways to fix people up. When I'm not doing acupuncture, I am smithing silver, reading many many books, or outside playing. This place where we live is filled with beauty and magic, and I feel so lucky to live here with y'all.
