I welcome you to visit me at Mountain Acupuncture, located in the Rendezvous Center, next door to Coffee House 26.  I am Stacey McCarthy, L.Ac. I am your local acupuncturist.

Since 2003, I have been treating your aches and pains, chronic illnesses, mysterious undiagnosable ailments, your ouchy necks, and your stressy minds. You can be young, you can be old, you can be in between. You can be someone who has used alternative medicine for years, or you can be skeptical as all get out.

I offer a general practice here in Hoodland, which means I will treat your sprained ankle, your dad's cold, your kid's asthma, and your barista's carpal tunnel. I will rehab your new knee, help you with your diet and fitness goals, and work with your doctor. I will even treat your pony. I will chill you out, clear your sinuses, disappear your headache, and make you feel like a million bucks.

You are invited to come visit me. Bring your pain, illnesses, diseases, your stress, and your questions. I will accept your checks, your cash, and your credit cards. If you have health insurance that covers acupuncture, I will furnish you with a fancy form which you can submit for reimbursement. Show up in your yoga clothes, your pajamas, your muck boots, or in tears. This is a Mountain joint, and all of you are welcome.

My treatment philosophy: Relationships and Results

I will work with with your doctor, your PT, your massage therapist, your counselor, or your trainer. I feel we are best served by a team of folks, so I am happy to collaborate with whatever folks you have on your team. Most importantly, I want to collaborate with YOU. We will come up with a treatment plan together. A plan that fits your needs and your schedule, tailored to you.

My job is to work myself out of a job with you, or at least most of you. We will set goals, create clear communication around how to achieve them, and go for it. Please see The View From Here for more information about acupuncture, things like dosage when it comes to acupuncture treatment, and other things I Find relevant to this whole endeavor. This endeavor is, after all, about you.
